Terry started out apprenticing on heritage properties across the Weald and the Kent countryside — stripping tired Welsh slate, learning where a chimney actually leaks, and finding out the hard way that a roof is only ever as honest as the timber under it.
Twenty years in, TJC Roofing runs the way he always wanted a firm to run: small crew, no subcontracted mystery men, materials picked for the building rather than the margin. If Terry hasn't been up your ladder personally, one of two roofers he's trained has.
The work spans a lot of ground — new-build pitched roofs, EPDM on garage extensions, full lead valleys on Victorian terraces, and the 10pm call when a ridge tile has gone through a conservatory. It's all treated the same: measured properly, quoted honestly, guaranteed in writing.
